The Seille is a tributary of the Saône. The base of Louhans is located at the end of this beautiful river. It flows through the heart of the "Bresse Bourguignonne," the region of the famous "Bresse chickens." Enjoy the charm of the rocky gorges you pass through. Discover the typical half-timbered houses and, from Louhans, a nature reserve for waterfowl. Drive to Louhans and visit the market square with its beautiful 16th-century arcades. A typical farmers' market is held there every Monday. Another option from Louhans is the Canal du Centre towards Santenay.
