Söderköping is one of Sweden's best-preserved medieval towns. Aside from medieval buildings such as St. Lawrence Church and Johan III's House, wooden houses from the 18th and 19th centuries dominate the city center. Southeast of the center lies the spa complex from the early 19th century, when Söderköping became known as a health resort. Choo-Choo and the Ice Cream Maker are definitely worth a visit in Söderköping, as are the chocolate factory and the toy museum in Ljungsbro.
